Terms & Conditions

  1. “we”, “us”, “our”, or “The Company” means Harley Street Healthcare LTD (company no. 09270782)
    1.2 “Patient Information” means the written information supplied by us to you either in brochure, email, or letter form.
    1.3 “Procedures” refers to the dermatological treatments or procedures to be carried out by a qualified Medical Practitioner .
    1.4 “Medical Practitioner ” means a medical practitioner qualified to carry out the Procedure  and registered with an appropriate regulatory body (such as the General Medical Council) where relevant, this could be a doctor or any other healthcare professional.
    1.5 “Patient” or “you” means any person who has entered into a contract for a dermatology treatment
    1.6 “Aftercare” means the post-treatment care and guidance provided to you by the Medical Practitioner , where you are entitled to contact the Medical Practitioner  or clinic team for up to 2 months post-treatment regarding advice pertaining to your procedure.
    1.7 “Cost” is the total price as detailed on the quotation provided.
    1.8 “Initial Consultation” means the pre-treatment meeting between you and a representative of Harley Street Healthcare LTD, which could be a Patient Coordinator or Medical Practitioner .
    1.9 “Consultation with Medical Practitioner ” is the meeting in which the Medical Practitioner  assesses your suitability for the treatment and discusses potential outcomes and risks – this may take place after or during the Initial Consultation.

1.10 “Patient Co-ordinator”, is a member of staff who is co-ordinating the treatment of a Patient.


2. OBLIGATIONS AND WARRANTIES

2.1 Medical Practitioners who are doctors are registered with the General Medical Council and are obliged to maintain full Private Practice Medical Indemnity Insurance with an appropriate insurer, such as the Medical Defence Union or the Medical Protection Society.
2.2 All Medical Practitioners are self-employed and make their own clinical decisions at all times. The patient warrants that having read and understood these Terms and Conditions, no cause of action in negligence will accrue against Harley Street Healthcare Ltd for any procedure carried out by the Medical Practitioner . The patient further warrants that he or she fully understands the range of possible outcomes of the proposed treatment.


3. PATIENT’S OBLIGATIONS

3.1 The contract is conditional upon the acceptance of the Patient by the Medical Practitioner , based on the information given by the Patient during the Initial Consultation and subsequent Consultation with the Medical Practitioner . The decision to carry out treatment will be at the discretion of the Medical Practitioner  and Harley Street Healthcare LTD.

3.2 Treatment will only be provided once payment has been agreed with the Patient Coordinator and a clear payment plan has been detailed and agreed by both the Patient and the Patient Coordinator.
3.3 The Patient acknowledges that the Patient Coordinator is not a doctor or Medical Practitioner . Any advice the Patient Coordinator gives is non-medical and purely general. If the Patient has medical questions, these should be raised with the Medical Practitioner  during the Consultation.
3.4 The Patient agrees to provide the Medical Practitioner  and clinical staff with an honest, accurate, and complete health history. The Patient acknowledges that withholding any medical information could impact their safety and may result in the cancellation of the procedure with no refund.
3.5 The Patient agrees to inform Harley Street Healthcare LTDof any changes in their health status after booking a procedure.


4. GENERAL OBLIGATIONS

4.1 Harley Street Healthcare LTD reserves the right to alter the Patient’s appointment or procedure date, although such changes will be avoided wherever possible. No compensation for consequential loss will be payable for such alterations.
4.2 By signing the terms and conditions aspect of our Health Questionnaire, the Patient agrees they have understood the terms and conditions and have had an opportunity to seek clarification. The consultation prior to any treatment is designed to ensure that you and your Medical Practitioner  are fully agreed on the treatment plan, and you understand the potential risks and benefits.
4.3 You will be required to sign a Medical Consent Form before any procedure, provided by your Medical Practitioner . It is the responsibility of the Medical Practitioner to ensure this and all relevant documentation is done, no cause of action in negligence will accrue against Harley Street Healthcare Ltd for any lack of or erroneous documentation carried out by the Medical Practitioner
4.4 In the interest of patient safety, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone your procedure.
4.5 Our role is limited to arranging and coordinating services between you and the Medical Practitioner  for the purpose of medical services.
4.6 You should seek advice from your General Practitioner (GP) when considering any dermatological treatment and undergo appropriate health checks before proceeding.
4.7 Any procedure carries risks, including medical complications and the possibility of unsatisfactory results. It is important to have realistic expectations, which should be discussed with your Medical Practitioner  during your consultation.
4.8 You warrant that the information provided by you is complete, correct, and up-to-date. You also warrant that your health is such that you are fit to undergo treatment. We accept no responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage caused in whole or in part by your failure to provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding your health.


5. RESCHEDULING/CANCELLATIONS

5.1 Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule your procedure, an administrative fee will apply as follows:
• Less than 7 days’ notice: £500 rescheduling fee.
5.2 Cancellations:
• Cancellations made more than 4 weeks prior to the treatment date: 25% of the total amount paid.
• Cancellations made 8-28 days before the procedure: 50% of the total amount paid.
• Cancellations made 7 days or less prior to the procedure date: 100% of the total amount paid.
5.3 Cancellations for medical reasons:
• Cancellations due to previously unknown medical conditions will be rescheduled if possible. If the condition prevents treatment, a refund of 25% of amount paid to date will be provided minus reasonable fees.
• Cancellations due to undisclosed pre-existing conditions will be refunded in line with section 5.2.


6. CONFIDENTIALITY

6.1 All matters relating to the Patient’s treatment will be kept confidential.
6.2 The Patient consents to the disclosure of personal information to medical staff for the purpose of discussing and planning treatment.
6.3 Photographs will be taken as part of the treatment process and are subject to data protection and confidentiality laws.
6.4 Under GDPR, you have rights concerning your personal data. Contact our Data Protection Officer at [email protected] for queries or to request data deletion.


7. LIABILITY

7.1 Harley Street Healthcare LTD’s personnel do not undertake responsibility for or warrant the medical services provided to you by the Medical Practitioner . Medical Practitioner s are self-employed and not employees of the Company. We accept no liability for the acts or omissions of the Medical Practitioner .
7.2 If you are dissatisfied with the results of your treatment, further procedures or legal action are matters between you and the Medical Practitioner . We may assist with coordination but are not liable for the results of any further treatment.

7.3 You understand that if a sample needs to be tested and if that sample is lost, this will not be the responsibility of Harley Street Healthcare but instead the responsibility of the contracted laboratory or Medical Practitioner.

7.4 You understand that interpretation of Patient results will not be the responsibility of Harley Street Healthcare but instead the responsibility of the contracted laboratory or Medical Practitioner.


8. COST AND INSURANCE

8.1. Insurance Policy:
Harley Street Healthcare Ltd does not participate in any insurance networks and is not affiliated with any insurance companies. As such, we do not bill insurance providers for any services rendered. It is the responsibility of the Patient to understand their insurance coverage and determine if reimbursement is available for out-of-network services.

8.2. Payment Responsibility:
All payments for consultations, treatments, procedures, and other services are the sole responsibility of the Patient. Payment is required in full at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made with Harley Street Healthcare Ltd. Patients will receive an invoice or receipt for the services provided, which they may submit to their insurance provider if they choose to seek reimbursement.

8.3. No Guarantee of Insurance Reimbursement:
Harley Street Healthcare Ltd makes no representations or guarantees that any amount paid will be reimbursed by the patient’s insurance provider. The decision to reimburse or deny coverage is solely at the discretion of the insurance company. Patients are encouraged to contact their insurance provider directly with any questions or concerns regarding coverage and reimbursement.

8.4. Financial Responsibility Agreement:
By seeking services at Harley Street Healthcare Ltd, the patient agrees to be financially responsible for the full cost of all services provided. Harley Street Healthcare Ltd will not engage in disputes with insurance companies on behalf of the Patient or assist in navigating insurance claims.

8.5. Non-Participating Provider Acknowledgment:
The Patient acknowledges and understands that Harley Street Healthcare Ltd operates as a non-participating provider for all insurance plans. This acknowledgment is accepted as part of the patient’s agreement to receive services and treatments at Harley Street Healthcare Ltd.


9. JURISDICTION

9.1 The laws of England and Wales shall apply to this contract, and the Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
9.2 Harley Street Healthcare LTD reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
