Persistent eczema needs more than another tube of hydrocortisone. Atopic, pompholyx, varicose, and contact dermatitis often require prescription-strength topicals, phototherapy, or systemic treatment under a consultant dermatologist.
For chronic, recurring eczema that flares despite over-the-counter creams. Treatment includes prescription-strength topicals, calcineurin inhibitors, phototherapy, and systemic medication where appropriate.
For blisters, cracking, and itching on hands and feet often linked to soap, detergent, and contact triggers. Includes patch testing to identify triggers and prescription treatment for active flares.
For infant and childhood atopic eczema affecting sleep, growth, and quality of life. Specialist paediatric dermatology assessment, parent-friendly treatment plans, and age-appropriate prescribing.
Initial consultation with a GMC consultant dermatologist is £249. This covers full assessment of your eczema subtype, severity and skin damage from previous flares, review of treatments you’ve tried, and a written treatment plan you can follow from that day.
Phototherapy courses, patch testing for contact dermatitis, and ongoing systemic medication monitoring are quoted separately based on what’s recommended. Same-week appointments available.
If you would like to book an appointment for active eczema or chronic flares please call our friendly team today on 0207 030 3370.

Every patient starts with a 30-minute consultation. The dermatologist examines your skin, identifies your eczema subtype, assesses any skin damage from previous flares, and reviews what you’ve already tried. Patch testing can be arranged if a contact trigger is suspected. No commitment to proceed.
Treatment is prescribed by a GMC consultant dermatologist with 30+ years of eczema experience. Pathways include prescription-strength topicals, calcineurin inhibitors, on-site phototherapy (UVB), systemic medication with blood monitoring, and biologic therapy for severe atopic eczema.
